2. Can I bring my Ice Cream stand to the Seaplane Festival?
The Ice Cream concession has been let for 2011 and all sites have been booked already.
3. Is there any difference in the Saturday and Sunday Format?
No. There might be slight differences in the programme but the same aircraft and activities will take place on both days of the Seaplane Festival.
4. I am a member/ex-member of the Forces. Can I get a discount on the ticket price?
No. The Seaplane Festival is self funding with no costs or relation to the MOD. This includes the need to support aircraft visiting the festival and the provision of insurance for all personnel and service vehicles used in support of the Seaplane Festival. In recognition of the work undertaken by all Civilian personnel who work on the Seaplane Festival week-end, we provide a number of free adult and child tickets as required.
5. Can you tell me what the weather forecast is for the Seaplane Festival weekend?
The Seaplane Festival Office does not give weather forecast advice; however, you might wish to visit a weather forecast website such as www.bbc.co.uk/weather and enter Enniskillen in the search.
6. I have purchased tickets for the Seaplane Festival but I can't make it to the event now. Can I get a refund?
Normally we do not refund monies for purchased tickets/enclosure places. Please read our refund policy.
7.What time does the event start?
The gates will open at 10am. Please remember that the Seaplane Festival is a major event and traffic delays are very likely. Generally, the peak traffic is between 9.30 and 11am. Visitors should time their arrival to avoid this extremely busy period.
8.Do you offer any discounts for OAP's?
Yes, there are concessions for OAP's.
9.Do you offer any discounts for disabled visitors?
No, there are no concessions for disabled visitors.
10.Is there any special facility for disabled visitors?
Yes, the Seaplane Festival provides disabled friendly shuttle buses from St Angelo Airport. Access friendly toilets and private parking adjacent to the shuttle bus pick up and drop off are intended to make your day at the Seaplane Festival more comfortable. Stewards will be in attendance to offer assistance.
11.Do you offer any discounts for Armed Forces Veterans?
No, there are no concessions for Armed Forces Veterans.
12.What is the Seaplane Festival postcode for my GPS (SatNav)?
Please follow the directions to St Angelo Airport, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh. Once within the vicinity of the area, the Police will be directing traffic to the Seaplane Festival. There is a specific traffic plan established for the Seaplane Festival weekend and visitors are strongly advised not to follow their GPS (SatNav) devices as this will considerably prolong their journey to the base.
13.Can I fly to St Angelo Airport in my private aircraft?
